Triage Supergroup BRAZIL
On July 12 2015 Eugene Goss & Billy Larkin put together a band to celebrate Brazilian Music at The Redmoor in Cincinnati. The night was quite magical for the audience & Billy feels that it was one of the special nights for himself as a performer. I can testify that there have been many. I always want to see triage with their special guests. This night included Mandy Gaines for a couple of numbers Meditation by Jobim & Mancini’s Moon River. It is the version of Meditation here that shines like a beacon of sharp light. Mandy is in another world. I also have to say that the band’s work on You Never Come To Me also written by Jobim inspired me to create some methods that I normally do not use in my video creations.
The sound by Duane Adams is an example of how sound should be done. The band featured Tony Whack, bass; Baba Charles Miller, percussion & Melvin Broach, trap set. Each player had an amazing evening. Tony is a master, Baba is always willing to create & support the play & Melvin plays Jazz with funk & power & surprising touch. I completely recommend this show on two DVDs.
